Roséverse Installer - Help/More Info
Thank you for downloading Roséverse Installer!, Roséverse Installer is our way to
allow users from the Homebrew App Store to download Project Rosé's Roséverse Miiverse revival directly on their Wii U systems.
Remember this app can also be used to quickly update Inkay (Pretendo) or Inkay (Roséverse) when an update is released, remember that some Inkay (Roséverse) updates are required, and after a period of time, the current
plugin might not function again, to continue to connect to Roséverse, realize the download of the latest update, this is done for security reasons.
As a reminder, Inkay (Roséverse) installation replaces your default Inkay (Pretendo) installation, obviously, the only thing changed is that Pretendo's Miiverse service is
replaced with ours, in-game functionality that makes use of Miiverse is kept as well, just as the rest of Pretendo online functionality.
Basic information about Roséverse Installer
The app might take a while to load, once you're there, you will see 3 options.
-The "Juxtaposition" option will install/replace the default Inkay (Pretendo).
-The "Roseverse" option will install/replace with Inkay (Roséverse).
-The "Help/More Info" option will open the internet browser to this page to explain and guide you through the process.
Use the touch screen to control this screen.
The color of the borders in the app represent whether you currently have Inkay (Roséverse), Inkay (Pretendo) or neither installed.
If its grey, it means neither exist, that you are in Nintendo Network, if its purple, it means you are using the default Inkay (Pretendo), if its green, it means Inkay (Roséverse) is currently being used.
Color is the best way to indicate the status of your Inkay installation.
How to do i install my Inkay of choice using Roséverse Installer?
Select the option you wish, either "Juxtaposition" for Inkay (Pretendo) or "Roseverse" for Inkay (Roséverse)
If you have more than 1 Aroma environment installed, it will prompt you to select the environment that you wish the selected Inkay version gets downloaded to.
To navigate, use the D-Pad to select and then press A on the environment of choice.
This screen is shown when you have more enviroments than the default one.
Use the D-Pad and A button to control this screen.
If you don't see this screen, it means you only have 1 Aroma environment (default one), and the download will continue.
Downloading Inkay (Pretendo) too many times in a row might cause a rate-limit from GitHub, however, feel free to download Inkay (Roséverse) as many times as needed, since it is downloaded from our independent servers.
This screen is shown then the download and installation has succeeded.
Once the selected Inkay is downloaded, it will prompt you to restart the console so the changes apply. Once B is pressed, the console will reboot.
Is there any risk or any type of data loss once i change from Juxt to Roséverse and viceversa?
There are no risks, but since Roséverse is a service different from Juxt, your friend list is separate from the native Wii U one, and your followings/followers are not transferred over, however, this should be an opportunity to meet some new people and some familiar faces!
Something that should be known is that some games save data related or tied in some way to a Miiverse post, for example, in GAME & WARIO, recommended words on Miiverse Sketch are saved in the games save data, so if you made a few words already, and transfer to Roséverse or viceversa, those words will still be there in your save data, limiting the amount of words that can be sent.
User Communities that were favorited or "joined"/created in Juxt will not exist in Roséverse and viceversa, it is recommended to create or join a new tournament (MK8) or gym (Wii Fit U) in this case. This only affects Wii Fit U and Mario Kart 8.
